WORSHIP STYLE
|
The Ecclesiastical tradition of St Werburgh's is
modern Catholic, though the need for a parish
church to be inclusive is taken seriously.
|
Incense is used at the Sunday Parish Eucharist.
Vestments are worn and the Blessed Sacrament is
reserved in the church.
|
Worship and music are mainly traditional - with a
few hymns/songs of a modern idiom at the Parish
Eucharist,
|
most especially on the first Sunday on the month
when the service is 'all-age'.
|
"Relaxed formality" is the best description of the
way we worship.
