WORSHIP STYLE
The Ecclesiastical tradition of St Werburgh's is modern Catholic, though the need for a parish church to be inclusive
is taken seriously.
Incense is used at the Sunday Parish Eucharist. Vestments are worn and the Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the
church.
Worship and music are mainly traditional - with a few hymns/songs of a modern idiom at the Parish Eucharist,
most especially on the first Sunday on the month when the service is 'all-age'.
"Relaxed formality" is the best description of the way we worship.
