DIRECTIONS
Aproaching from the direction of
Derby on A52.
Leave A52 at turn off for Spondon on to Lodge Lane North, A6095. Pass Gascoigne Drive approx. 80 mts on the left and go straight on up Church Hill into Church Street. The church is situated immediately on the left side of the road down a shared drive to St. Werburgh's Nursing Home.
PLEASE NOTE. Continue straight on at junction after Gascoigne Drive, do not turn right at sign post A6095 ILKESTON.
Aproaching from the direction of Nottingham on A52.
Leave A52 at exit sign posted Spondon / Chaddesden. At the end of the exit slip road go right round the island and take 6th exit which is the slip road onto the A52 Eastbound. STAY IN LEFT HAND LANE and turn immediatly left into Lodge Lane North, DO NOT join the A52. From here follow the directions as above.
Public Transport.
The Spondon Flyer leaves from Derby bus station at approximately 10 minute intervals.
The stop for the Parish Church is Lodge Lane, (the first stop in Spondon) and is very close to the church. It is a very short walk up the hill from here.
The Trent Barton No. 4 and 5 pass the bottom of Lodge Lane South from both Derby and Nottingham directions. From here it is about a five hundred yard walk up Lodge Lane and over the A52 foot bridge.
